Because its a world book day....i had to post it
"Now i think its one of the most useless questions an adult can ask a child—What do u want to be when you grow up?As if growing up is finite. As if at some point you become something and that's the end " ......... First Lady Michelle Obama.
The book that changed me personally as a thinker ..
FIRST LADY,the world recognize her as this Honorary Title,Practically she is the paradigm of what has been honored to her,in every manner, she has manifested herself and presently i can proudly shout out by announcing that she plays an absolute iconistic feminism in today's world ...Even i look upto her as a role model ,so why not an Indian u guyss must be in dilemma? But specifically i am not demoralizing my Country's feminist tycoons but there are certain reasons i prioritoze her.... Firstly, her never ending struggle which she continued to tackle till the end.
Secondly, authorizing herself no matter what n lastly,by not letting down herself or entangling in any societal or political or religious controversy.....highlightedly i marked n i found these reasons to be supreme in any cases if u wanna be the next epitome of such faultless personality..

HIGHLIGHTING POINTS FROM THE BOOK
400 page exapnsion the book Becoming is.
The book has Michelle's own story and she portrayed herself as a struggler, journey of highs and lows with her husband, her persepective, her family background and somewhere racial dispostion.Few sorrow events that ended up into a ceasing memont presently, sorrow of misscarriage, loneliness of living and how she overcame it and finally committed to Barack Obama till the end, only to discover for happy hour nights where single people would mingle.Every point is relevant in this book and so the quotes its so relatable and seems to be realistic as well..
In this book she reveals her life as an alchemy, her compromise and habituation with a family of four, sharing ine bed apartment
Her complexion turns out to be most challenging path for whe she ultimately overcame by tackling smartly. She describes herself in her early years as the striver.
.
The most remarkable among all is her committed realtionship with her husband and her daughters, its commendable. No matter how the path was she make sure to stand by side her husband and encouraging him to every way possible.Undoubtedly,if we praise Obama as a President half the credit goes to her better half for pushing him to the limits to which he was unaware of.Some of the life lessons quotes i shall put in here it will make easy to analyse for us to analyse what all she went through and why we should read this book
•For me,becoming isn't about arriving somewhere or acheiving a certain aim.I see it instead as forward motion,a means of evolving,a way to reach continously toward a better self. The journey doesn't end.
•For every door that's has been opened to me,I've tried to open my doors to others. There is power in allowing yourself to be known and heard,in owning your own unique story,in using your own authentic voice. And there's is a grace in being willing to known and hear others. This, for me,is how we become
•failure is a feeling long before it's an actual result. Its vulnerablity that breeds with self-doubt and then is escalated.ofter deliberately,by fear
•Your story is what you have, what you will always have.It is something to own
•Friendships between women,as any women will tell you,are built of a thousand kindness...swapped back and forth and over again
•Women endure entire lifetimes of these indignities- in the form of catcalls, groping, assault, opression.Theae things injure us and they sap our strength. Some of the cuts are small they are barely visible.Others are huge and gaping, leaving scars that never heal.Either, way they accumulate. We carry them everywhere,to and from school and work,at home while raising our children,at our places of worship, anytime we try to advance
•It hurts to live after someone has died.It can hurt to walk down halfway or open the fridge. It hurts to put on a pair of socks, brush your teeth.Food tastes like nothing.Colors go flat.Music hurts, and so do memories. You would look at something you would otherwise find beautiful---Grief is so lonely this way
•At 54,i am still in progress, and i hope that i always will be
•Bullies were scared people hiding inside scary people
•We were planting seeds of change, the fruit of which we might never see.We had to be patient
• I had been lucky to have parents, teachers, mentors who had fed me with consistent, simple message:you matter.
Its an absolute must be read book ...she has remained the same girl throughout the working class from Chicago to The First Lady and an iconic. She herself is an inspiration,i am glued to her starighforward and openness to whatever she has quoted in the Book..Dream to atleast see your glance once in my lifetime..🙏
She is a gift to the entire Universe💖
